LG Launches G Pad 8.0 Tablet in India at Rs 21,000 With 3G Support

LG has launched G Pad 8.0 tablet in India at a price of Rs 21,000 with 3G support. A Wi-Fi only variant of the LG G Pad 8.0 already went on sale last month at a price of Rs 17,999 via a third-party online retailer.

The LG G Pad 8.0 3G tablet comes with 8-inch IPS display with a WXGA (1280 X 800) display, powered by a 1.2GHZ quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, it has 16GB of inbuilt storage with microSD card support that can be expanded up to 64GB. The tablet features a 5-mega pixel rear camera, 13-mega pixel front camera, 4200mAh battery and runs on Android KitKat 4.4 operating system.

The device measures 210.8×124.2×9.95mm in dimensions and is available in black and white colors. Other features on the LG G Pad 8.0 includes QPair 2.0, that allows users to connect to their smartphones with Bluetooth to answer phone calls, receive notifications and send text messages directly from their LG tablet.

In February this year,  the company had launched four mid-range smartphones — Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy, running Android Lollipop and will be available in 3G and 4G LTE variants with metallic back covers.
