HeyBiz is a mobile marketplace for products and services, which connects both customers and businesses on mobile phones with a real time chat facility.
The app was launched in January 2015 by Bhartesh Chibbar , an engineer by education, who has previously worked in Cisco and Co-founded Rocketalk.
Using the app, the customers can find the relevant businesses and can initiate a chat real time with the chosen trader without disclosing personal contact details. It claims to provide a quality check by a team of experts in a particular division. The users don’t have to disclose their personal details, unless they want to.
For the SMEs, they can use the platform easily to attract customers by using the chat option to convince and build a personal bond. Business owners, service providers or even individual professionals can list their business profile in couple of clicks on the app. It also provides the businesses an option to have a ‘paid’ featured profile where it provides benefits such as wider reach and segmented marketing.
What problems does it solve?
The sellers on online stores are at a loss because they can’t endorse their products with a sales person, as like in offline stores. The online stores invest a lot in technology, user experience and design to keep them hooked on to their portals. However there is no person available for consumers who can answer their concerns about the listed products.
