In recent past Google had introduced the service to find your phone through a dashboard (provided it’s an Android device). And now they have simplified it so that it can be used from Google search itself.
Until now, if you had to locate your phone via Google you had to go to Android Device Manager on another device or computer and start the search, which did cost some time and wasn’t convenient for everyone.
Now you can just type ‘Find my phone’ on Google and your phone’s location will be on screen instantly along with an option to make it ring.
After your device is located, and if you find it is in an unsecure location you can click on the map to be redirected to the full Android Device Manager page where you will find the options to remotely lock or wipe your phone.
