Whatsapp, which was bought by Facebook last year, might finally be integrated and used in Facebook via a feature which is being tested by both the companies.
In the new update, Facebook has added a WhatsApp button on its status action bar, which is denoted by the Whatsapp icon on the right side of the bar. Through this feature, the users will be able to share status on both the platforms.
This is the first major integration since the acquisition of WhatsApp for $19 billion by Facebook last year. Rumours are out that both the companies are working to interlink the platforms where messages can be exchanged between WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, according to GeekTime.
