Silicon Valley based LensBricks, a maker of smart sensing technology for homes, has raised $1 million in seed round from Bengaluru-based early-stage venture capital firm, Exfinity Ventures. North Bridge Ventures and Lux capital also participated in the round, taking the total funding value to $2 million.
Founded in December 2013, LensBricks develops smart sensing technology for people and their homes. Its flagship product augments customer awareness about household activity. By utilizing a camera hardware and software solution, the firm’s device comprehends the scene, identifies patterns and informs the user. The camera can also be programmed to look out for record-worthy memorable events as well.
This is the fourth investment by Exfinity Venture. It has previously invested in cloud-based artificial intelligence startup Mad Street, on-demand video distribution startup RiverSilica and Virtual Power Systems.
