Singapore-headquartered big data solutions company, Antuit which is also having a presence in Bengaluru, has acquired Prognos, a Chicago-based analytics company specializing in the retail and consumer package goods (CPG) sector. The deal amount is still undisclosed. This acquisition will help Antuit strengthen its offerings to the retail/CPG market.

The news comes almost 3 months after Antuit raised $56 million from Goldman Sachs in January, with participation from its existing seed investor Zodius Capital.
Started in 2007, Prognos is focused on demand forecasting, lifecycle pricing and customer insight. It specializes in retail/CPG sector, has operations in Chicago, Dallas & Pune, India.
Founded in 2013 by Sengupta, Antuit has operations in Singapore, New York, Seattle, Auckland and Bangalore. The company delivers solutions in Supply Chain & Operations, Sales & Marketing and Retail and CPG.
