New York-based company, Pager which provides on-demand doctor visits on iOS devices in NY city only, has raised $10.4 million from existing seed investors Lux Capital and Montage Ventures. The new investors Goodwater Capital and Summation Health Ventures also participated in the round.
As per a report by VentureBeat, the latest funding will be used to expand its services into new markets and onto new devices. The company is also working on integrating its services with existing insurance programs.
Pager was started in 2013, it offers personal healthcare via doctor house calls, with just a tap of your phone from urgent care to health services including STD testing, flu shots and physicals. Pager is currently available in Manhattan and Brookyn from 8am to 10pm everyday.
