Indian Game Developer Moonfrog Labs Raises $15M Funding from Tiger Global and Sequoia

Bangalore based Indian mobile games developer Moonfrog Labs has raised $15 million in Series A round of funding. The funding has been raised from Tiger Global and Sequoia Capital, earlier Sequoia Capital had invested $1 million more in seed round of funding making total sum of funds raised to $16 million.

Techcrunch report says that Tanay Tayal, Co-founder of Moonfrog Labs has plans of increasing staff, entering different gaming genres and developing better technology platforms with the funding.

Moonfrog Labs was found in 2013 and has been running with a focus on Indian mobile gaming. Their most successful product being ‘Teen Patti Gold’ card game which has been downloaded more than 2 million times.
