Delhi-based travel planning portal, Routofy has raised an undisclosed amount in funding from Snapdeal’s co-founders – Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, with participation from Nikunj Jain, founder of Frankly.me.
As per a VCCircle report, the company’s aims to utilize the raised funding for expanding team and enhancing technology. Started by Raunak Gupta in 2014, the startup helps users to search for flights, trains and buses all at once. Get auto-made direct indirect connections to anywhere, with prices and deals from their favorite providers.
Routofy offers a multi-model route planner in order to plan the journey of a users when they have exhausted all direct commutation options. The company is also working on a mobile app for Android platform, which should be out in a month.
Apart form this, Snapdeal’s co-founders have invested in Mumbai-based online apparel player Bewakoof.com and recently also made investments in Gigstart and TinyOwl among others.
