Started by Pradeep Kumar and Anushri Kocher, 100Marks is a platform which helps students prepare for IIT-JEE. It offers training in JEE main, advanced and medical entrance exams through gamified adaptive and exam news and updates.
Embibe was founded in November 2012 by Aditi Avasthi. It also offers training to students in JEE, AIPMT, AIIMS, CET and other competitive exams. It leverages a cross-roads of personalized data analytics and technology to capture the exact weaknesses of students, centered around critical exam performance metrics like speed, accuracy, time management, attempt planning, stamina & also addresses psychological factor like confidence.
In May 2014, Embibe had secured $4 million in a round of funding from Kalaari Capital and Lightbox Ventures. The other player included in this space is iNurture Education Solutions, which raised Rs 30 crore from Bertelsmann India Investments (BII).
