Microsoft aims to make Office 365 as world’s premier online working software by beating competitor Google’s Google Apps in a war for dominance for online work space.

On Wednesday, Microsoft rolled out its plan to encourage its resellers and existing business partners to use Office 365, by providing it for free. The company has struck an agreement with SkyKick that lets Microsoft’s partners use SkyKick’s transfer tool, Office 365 Migration Suite, for free.

Skykick’s transfer tool would transfer the user’s data such as saved messages, folders and files, user settings, contacts and so on from offline Office to Office 365.The process however, is touted as time taking by both Microsoft and Skykick, as reported by Venturebeat.

Google and Microsoft both aim to fight ‘tooth or nail’ for the online dominance, which may prove to be beneficial to the users in future.
