Hyderabad based personal genomics and predictive tests firm Mapmygenome has secured Pre Series A round of funding from multiple investors, including Google India managing director Rajan Anandan. Other investors include, CMS Computers MD Aarti Grover, Hive Technologies MD Arihant Patni and Singapore Angel Network CEO Satveer Singh Thakral.
As reported by The Hindu, the company has not revealed the amount of fund raised. The raised funds will be used to scale up the company operations in India and at the global level.
Mapmygenome is a molecular diagnostics company for people who are proactive about their health. By combining genetic report and health history with genetic counseling it provides actionable steps for individuals and their physicians towards a healthier life.
Mapmygenome CEO Anu Acharya said, “We are looking to expand our team (leadership, sales and marketing and genetic counselling network), and invest in some assets and scale up our research.”
