Huawei Announces its First Android Wear Smartwatch with 1.4 Inch AMOLED Touchscreen

Huawei has released its first Android Wear smartwatch at the Mobile World Congress, that will be available in over 20 countries across the globe. The watch is expected to arrive mid-June 2015 just a few months after Apple Watch is expected to ship,  and price details are still undisclosed.

The smartwatch features a 1.4 inch AMOLED touchscreen, 42mm round face with a 286 ppi and will come in gold, silver and black colors. It will available in various designs for both men and women and will also offer over 40 customizable watch faces.

The watch also includes a heart rate monitor, 4GB of storage, 512 MB RAM, powered by a Qualcomm 1.2GHz processor and also having a 6-axis motion sensor. It will pair to any Android phone using Bluetooth L.

Apart from this, the company has also unveiled two new wearable devices – Talkband B2 activity tracker and N1 earbud Hybrid. Talkband B2 will recognize the type of activity like walking, running and will also track sleep. The N1 is essentially a set of earbuds that clip together using magnets, but one that also provides additional activity tracking functionality. It also include accelerometer, for doing basic movement tracking.

The N1 is IP54 rated, so mostly dust-protected and able to withstand splashes of water, that will be available in gold, metallic, grey and silver. It has 4GB of storage on board for music tracks, which can either be sideloaded or synced via the app. It’s price and availability are still undisclosed by the company.
