Bangalore based, transport logistics automation firm, Cubito.in has raised $160,000 in a seed round of funding led by early stage investor Sol Primero. As part of the deal, Presha Paragash, co-founder of Sol Primero will join the board of the company.
The raised funding will be used for expanding its technology platform’s city reach. The startup was setup in 2012 as a shared cab service. The firm pivoted its business model in September 2014, and turned itself into transport focused technology solutions provider. It is currently working with four companies, including Air India and also plans to add 20 more in the next six months. Besides Bangalore, Cubito is operational in Mumbai and Delhi.
It offers Employee Transportation Automation Tool (ETAT) which compiles all employee information, geo-codes the data and allocates the fleet accordingly saving time and paper work. Also, it enables proximity alerts, real time tracking, consent ad hoc requests as well as facilitates automated invoice generation and enables the administrator to monitor the speed maintained and off-routing.
Prior to Cubito, Sol Primero had invested in companies like Zostel, Ridingo, Curofy and Smart Pocket.
