Uber has launched its international meal delivery service with UberEATS in Barcelona.
For its new service, the company is partnering with local food guide Plateselector to identify local restaurant in the city. To order, users need to open their Uber app and select from a menu from a handful of local restaurants, listed on the website, and the order will be delivered in 10 minutes.
The company blog post said, “Uber is always looking for ways to use technology to get people connected to their world as quickly and as efficiently as possible.”
As reported by Venture Beat, Uber had previously launched meal deliveries under the name UberFRESH in Los Angeles. New York city has UberRUSH, that caters to on-demand delivery products that covers logistical needs reliably and without complicated and costly delivery arrangements.
