Twitter has launched a new advertising tool – Quick Promote for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to get their better content in front of more people on Twitter. The new feature allows businesses to promote tweets directly from their analytics dashboard. It works in a manner similar to sponsored posts on Facebook.
“Promoting a Tweet takes just a few clicks and your Tweet will automatically be targeted to users who have interests similar to your followers — the audience that is most likely to be interested in your message,” Twitter wrote in a Blog Post.
Here are the following steps which shows how it works once user logged into their Tweet activity dashboard:
1. Businesses choose a tweet from their analytics dashboard. Twitter recommends the user to choose a Tweet that’s already resonating with their followers and can also set a budget based on how many people they want to engage with the tweet.
2. Twitter will then automatically target it to users with similar interests. The social network also said that users who see a relevant Promoted Tweet from an SMB are also 32 percent more likely to visit that business.
3. Users can watch people engage with their Tweet in real time, and optimize their content strategy to drive more desired actions, like Retweets or URL clicks.
