San Francisco, CA based content curation startup Livefyre has raised $47 million in new funding from Adobe and Salesforce Ventures, along with existing investors Cue Ball, Greycroft Partners, Hillsven Capital and U.S. Venture Partners.
The raised funding will be used to grow technology and build tools for customers.
Including this round, the company has raised a total capital of $67.3 million, and its 1,500 customers include AOL, Conde Nast, Sony PlayStation and Universal Music Group.
Livefyre offers a platform that enables marketers to engage and grow their audiences through the management, discovery and amplification of user generated content. Consumers create billions of pieces of content every day, from Tweets and Instagram pics to product reviews and video uploads.
