Yepme Raises USD 13M; In Talks with SoftBank For More Funding


Online fashion retailer, that is backed by Gurgaon-headquartered Vas Data Services Pvt. has secured around USD 13 million in series A round from TCS Capital and JS Capital, with participation from existing investors Helion Venture Partners and Capricorn Investment Group.

As per a LiveMint report, the firm is also in talks with Japanese corporation SoftBank among a few other global investors to raise a large round of funding by June this year. The company is targeting to raise USD 100 million.

Founded in 2010 by Sandeep Sharma, Vivek Gaur and Anand Jadhav, sells its products on marketplaces such as Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, Jabong and Myntra, apart from its own portal. In April last year, Yepme started its international business, and currently sells to customers in the US and plans to expand its presence to others markets in the coming months.
