Tumblr Launches Creatrs Program to Help Artists Make Some Extra Cash

Social media platform, Tumblr which helps artists to showcase their work, has now launched a new program named Creatrs. Creatrs allows its community of artists to connect with brands and companies for advertising campaigns and strengthen partnership with them.

Around 300 artists have already signed up during the program’s test phase. As per TheNextWeb report, one of the parts of the program is Creatrs Network, that helps brands to connect with the artists. Also, it having small group to create artwork and design pieces for brands and event.

Creatrs help artists to make money from brands as well as it exercises an additional control over some of the native advertising on its blogs. During a six-month test phase, Tumblr has already paid out a quarter of billion dollars to artists on Creatrs Network. It is working with brands such as AT&T, Gap and more.
