Mobile Tech Startup AppVirality Raises Seed Round from Rajan Anandan and Others

Hyderabad based tech start-up AppVirality has raised an undisclosed amount in seed round from investors including Rajan Anandan (Google India), Mike Galgon (aQuantive), Ravi Gururaj (Nasscom), Ashim Mehra (Baron Capital), Mohit Saxena (InMobi), India Internet Group, and TNN Capital. The raised funding will be used for further product development and hiring talent. The company is also aiming at adding three more growth techniques to its product suite by end of May 2015.

Started by brothers and founders Ram Papineni and Laxman Papineni, AppVirality  is a plug and play growth hacking toolkit for mobile apps. It helps app developers in identifying and implementing the right growth techniques without having to code, through its “Personalized In-App Referrals” offering.

AppVirality currently is a 6 member team, also looking at steady expansion and around 700 apps have already signed up for using its services.

“Our vision is to build a robust product that gives power to the growth or marketing teams whocan login to our dashboard, select growth techniques and implement on the fly, no coding required.” Said Ram & Laxman.
