Custom-Designed Apparel Store FreshMonk Raises Funding from August Capital and Others
Singapore and Noida-based a custom-design platform FreshMonk, which allows anyone to create and sell custom merchandise with no up-front costs, has raised an undisclosed amount led by August Capital Partners with participation from angel investor Michael Blakey of Cub Capital. As a part of the deal, Alex Kumar, director at August Capital Partners, will join the company’s board of directors.
As per a VCCircle report, the new funding will be used in increasing market penetration in Asia. Started in 2014 by Prashant Gulati and Shashank Agarwal, the startup eliminates traditional hassles in selling merchandise to make money online. Also, the firm works with partners in production, screen printing and logistics.
Englishleap.com Secures Funding from Financial Technology Firm ANALEC

Delhi based online education startup Englishleap.com has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from financial technology firm ANALEC.
According to a report, ANALEC acquired a majority of stakes in the company as a part of the funding deal.
Saurabh Chopra, co-founder and MD of Leap Learning Solutions said, “We will use the funding for customer acquisition and product development.”
Founded in 2011 by Saurabh Chopra and Apar Sureka, the startup focuses on imparting fluency in speaking, reading and writing english. The company offers web-based learning along with an English grammar app, which has till date has seen over three lakh downloads as according to the above mentioned report.
AppsFlyer Raises USD 20M in Series B Funding
Mobile advertising platform, AppsFlyer has secured USD 20 million in Series B funding led by Fidelity Growth Partners with participation from existing investors, Magma Venture Partners and Pitango Venture Capital. The new funding will be used to accelerate the development of its product offerings as well as for international expansion.
Founded in 2011 by Oren Kaniel, Reshef Mann, AppsFlyer is a mobile advertising measurement platform that allows app marketers to measure their user acquisition campaigns in real-time. In March 2014, the firm had received USD 7.1 million in series A round.
