Lamborghini Launches an Android Smartphone for USD 6,000


Tonino Lamborghini Group has launched a 88 Tauri dual-SIM Android smartphone at a price of USD 6,000 (approximately INR 3,72,300). The device is expected to go live for sale starting late December, just before the New Year. The company has also announced that 88 Tauri will have 1947 units only. The 1947 is the birth year of the founder of the company Tonino Lamborghini.

The report first published by Russian tech website, states that the device will come with following specifications:

Display: 88 Tauri will have a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Processor, RAM, Memory Space: The device is powered with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 3 GB of RAM and will have 64 GB of built-in expandable storage.

Camera: It also features a 8-megapixel front camera and 20-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash.

Other Features: The device packs a 3400 mAh battery, made of steel (in black, gold and steel) and leather (black, blue, red, orange, brown) and is fixed by hand embroidered stitches. It will support 4G LTE networks and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Apart from this, BlackBerry in collaboration with Porsche Design had launched the new Porsche Design P’9983 smartphone earlier this year at a price of INR 1,27,000.
