Startup Chile Announces its 12th Batch of 100 Startups Including 3 from India

Start-up chile, an accelerator program run by Chilean government has announced the selected startups who will join Start-up Chile program in its 12th batch. 100 startups have been selected from over 25 different countries.

IT & Enterprise Software remained the most identified industry (25%), which is then followed by e-commerce (10%) and Media & Advertising (9%).

We welcome this new generation to the #SUPBand beginning the 23rd of February, 2015. The next application process will open on the 13th of January, 2015, Startup Chile wrote in a Blog Post.

The accelerator has chosen the following 3 start-ups from India –

Pykih: A data journalism company which help data journalists, software companies and businesses with visually representing data to make the data simple and actionable for managers / readers. It has helped companies like Microsoft, 500 start-ups, Europeana, FirstPost (Network 18), etc. Mumbai-based B2B start-up Pykih has a 13-member team and started in September 2013.

WizEngage:  An audience engagement platform that focused on Amplifying real time audience engagement for Brands, Event Hosts, Event Sponsors alike by using related Social Media content generated in localized environments. launched in December 2013, as a venture of Samal Gorai and Vishwanath Gurlhosur.

Relatas: Bengaluru-based a business relationship intelligence firm that was started by founder Sudip Dutta. The start-up helps user with secure cloud scheduling with intelligence about the person user is meeting and micro-page level document analysis. It allows users to manage their contacts for both business and personal life.
