The Oppo R5 will have a 5.2-inch AMOLED screen and measures 4.85 mm in width and weighs 155 g. The device is powered with a Qualcomm’s MSM8939 processor, and features a 13 MP rear camera with the PI 2.0 Plus Flash Shot technology.
The R5 also includes OPPO’s VOOC mini rapid charging system, where a five-minute charge will allow for a two-hour call and 30-minute charge will provide 75 percent battery life.
Earlier this year, Oppo had announced its foray into Indian market with its flagship product Oppo N1 at around around INR 37,200. And has actors Hritik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor as its brand ambassadors in the country.
Xiaomi, Gionee and OnePlus are other Chinese companies who entered India this year, however unlike Oppo they do only online sales as of now.
