HTC had launched its flagship phone HTC One M8 earlier this year, and now rumours about its successor One M9 are doing rounds on the Internet. The specifications of the upcoming smartphone have been leaked, while the phone is expected to be launched early next year.
The report first published by PhoneArena, states that the device will come with following specifications:
Display: HTC One M9 will have a 5.5-inch display with 2560×1440 resolution.
Processor, RAM, Memory Space: The device is powered with a Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and will have 64GB and 128GB storage options.
Camera: It also features a a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, dual-LED flash. This implies that the company is doing away with its Ultra-Pixel camera lens.
Other Features: The device packs a 3,500mAh battery, and will sport an aluminium body along with silicon carbide composites. The smartphone will come preloaded with Android 5.0 Lollipop with an updated sense UI.
Additionally, since its partnership with Beats ended, HTC is looking for other audio partners, and Bose is speculated to be chosen candidate for powering the audio in this phone.
Apart from this, in October HTC has launched a RE camera controlled by an app called GoPro that works on both Android and iPhone. Also, it had officially announced its latest mid-range Smartphone in the Desire Series ,The HTC Desire 820 – at its pre-IFA 2014 event.
