Cloud-based video learning and collaborative platform, Linkstreet has secured an undisclosed amount in series A round of funding led by boutique Indian asset management firm, Faering Capital. As a part of the investment, Faering Capital’s founders Aditya Parekh and Sameer Shroff joined Linkstreet’s board. The company aims to utilized the raised funds for product building, business development, hiring and doubling revenues in next 12 months.
Linkstreet which started out of Bangalore in 2011 as a venture of Arun Muthukumar and Vikram Ramakrishnan, provides an online platform to organizations & individual cloud collaboration for knowledge sharing and learning. The startup has already found application of its platform across different industries including healthcare, retail and financial services.
Linkstreet’s clients include IIM Bangalore, Indian School of Business (Hyderabad), Children’s Heartlink (US), MIOT Hospitals, Indo-British Health Initiative, Columbia Asia among others.
Faering Capital currently manages a INR 865 crore domestic PE fund called Faering Capital India Evolving Fund , has made five investments in 2014 and 12 investments in total so far.
