Ex-Vodafone and Ex-Reliance Jio Execs Team Up to Launch ‘Billbachao’ App to Help Cut Mobile Bills


Two former executives of Vodafone and Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Jio infocomm have teamed up to launch to launch a new app that will help and guide mobile users to cut down their mobile bills by providing them with optimum tariff plans and best network connectivity.

The new app ‘Billbachao’, is a web-cum-mobile application based service. According to an ET report, Jonathan Bill the managing director and co-founder of Billbachao said that the app will help the users save upto 25% of tariff whether prepaid or postpaid plans, with the same operator. And the app will also guide with recommendations of the most optimum network in the places where you live, work or travel.

About the App:

It will keep users updated with bill due date and gives average monthly expenditure for both prepaid and postpaid users. The app updates on a daily basis using the data available with all the Indian telecom operators in each of their circles.

It gives personalised recommendations on the basis of usage of voice, sms and data, to help save money. It helps to find fast data speed, strong signals and best connections for a given location. There is also an option of DND (Do Not Disturb) and deactivation of VAS (Value Added Service) messages.

The app is currently available for Android users while others can avail the service through web, while an iOS version will be rolled out soon.To download the Android version of the app click here.
