E-commerce Startup LivSpace Raises USD 4.6M in Funding from Helion and others


Bengaluru-based e-commerce startup, LivSpace has secured USD 4.6 million from Helion Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and Jungle Ventures, TechinAsia reports.

Home design and decor start-up was started by Shagufta Anurag, Anuj Srivastva and Ramakant Sharma. It provides an online shopping destination where anyone can design, decorate and furnish their dream home. Also, it offers the facility to hire a designer on its platform, or the users can customize the products based on their requirements.

LivSpace delivers its products in Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai & Bangalore and is currently partnering with real estate portal CommonFloor to showcase a few of the new apartments in these cities.

The other players are also included in this space like Urban Ladder, PepperFry and FabFurnish. Urban Ladder had recently launched an augmented reality app called ‘Living Spaces’ allows user to try out multiple options of sofas in their living room. Bangalore based, online home decor retailer Urban Ladder had raised USD 21 million in Series B round led by Hong Kong-based Steadview Capital and others. In May this year, Pepperfry has raised USD 15 million in Series C round from Bertelsmann India Investments (BII).
