Online Apparel Retailer VoxPop Closes USD 1M Led by Blume Ventures

Mumbai-based T-shirt manufacturer VoxPop has secured USD 1 million in a fresh round of funding led by existing investor Blume Ventures. The company aims to utilize the raised funds for product development, expand its current team as well as to widen brand partnership. Last year, it had also received USD 400,000 in an unknown round of funding, reports ET.

The online portal develops and retails limited edition T-shirts in partnership with brands like Disney, Marvel and Mumbai City Football Club. The T-Shirts are available for both men and women on the store, characters whose Tshirt are available on the platform include  Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Batman, Thor etc. 

VoxPop was founded in April 2013 by founder Siddharth Taparia. Also, it allows designers to upload designs which printed on T-shirts by the company for a fee. The company initially launched with 10 brands, and now sees 200 transactions per day, it is aiming to reach INR 1 crore in monthly sales by December.
