Hyderabad-based start-up, Zippr that solves the problem of complex addresses on Google maps by providing a unique address, has closed INR 6 crore in Angel funding. The investment was led by Indian Angel Network and a few other investors. In future, it is also planning to secure Series A funding to part with some equity to venture capital firms.
The raised funds will be used to, “Focus on pushing quicker consumer adoption through offline activation, scaling technology infrastructure as well as increase the size of the team,” Aditya Vuchi, Founder & CEO of Zippr told Business Line.
The app allows users to find out exact location anywhere on the earth, create a short code of eight digit and send to friends, relatives, customers via SMS or an email eliminating low value conversations around directions/ addresses.
