Titan, a Tata Group company, has launched international shipping services for its jewellery segment Tanishq, through its e-commerce portal. With an aim to capture the Indian diaspora living abroad, the service is created keeping in mind the interest of non-resident Indians (NRIs), People of Indian Origin (PIOs) in purchasing ethnic products and jewellery from India.
As indicated on their website, the company will be shipping to US, UK, Singapore, Australia and the Middle East. Business Insider says, it also plans to expand its shipping presence to more countries in the future.
The watchmaker launched its e-commerce website last year and has now tied-up with PayPal for payments and United Parcel Service (UPS) for logistics and its international deliveries. The e-commerce portal offers a different products including jewellery, watches, optical eyewear, sunglasses, backpacks, bags, perfumes, wallets and belts among others with in-house brands like Tanishq, Titan, Fastrack, Sonata, Xylys, Skinn, Titan Eye+ and international watches licensed under Helios.
