London-based productivity app developer Lowdownapp has raised an undisclosed amount led by Indian Angel network, which recently started its operations in UK. The raised funds are expected to be used for sales and marketing initiatives. The app is currently available for iOS users only, but the company plans to launch an Android version soon.
Lowdownapp helps professionals plan, prepare and navigate to meetings and gives snapshot and in-depth views of attendance information, company details, directions and much more.
“We think the solution the company is providing can be used by professionals across the world; it is not country or region specific . There is a lot of scope of expansion for the company,
” Padmaja Ruparel, president of IAN, told LiveMint
Currently, the app has a 30 days free trial period, after then developer charges USD 8 per month or USD 80 annually.
“We have around 3,000 users so far, and 10% of these are paid customers. Paid subscribers and partnerships with corporates are the two revenue streams for us”, said David Senior, Founder & CEO of Lowdownapp.
