With an aim to get every household in Singapore on board, Financial planning portal DrWealth has secured USD 640K in Seed funding led by Puffer Ventures with participation from Strategic angel investors Huang Shao-Ning. The other Investors such as Michelle Lim, co-founders of JobsCentral Group, and HomeLoanWhiz founder Wayne Quek also take part in the round.
As per a TechinAsia report, the company aims to utilize the new funds for accelerating its growth, hiring new talents, feature-building, and adding more personal finance content for its users. it is also planning to launch a mobile app for users to track daily expenses and stock portfolios.
DrWealth was launched in May this year, claims to received 100,000 visitors till now. It offers articles and research to users on all areas of Personal Finance including Retirement Planning, Investments, Savings, Insurance etc. The firm helps to enable the use of mobile and desktop software tools for track, model and plan all users finances.
