Gridle is collaboration and communication tool for teams and enterprises, which combines all the modes of communication possible today over the Internet onto one platform. What problems it is solving: Companies currently use on an average 3 tools to collaborate and employees spend more than 28 man-hours/month on an average on emails, calendars and reminders. The fact that they have to use multiple tools means that they have to maintain contacts cross devices and softwares to work efficiently. In these times when companies are outperforming each other on various HR fronts, enterprises cannot afford to waste 3 to 4 working days of each employee every month because they are not using one singular platform for complete communication and collaboration.

More Info: Ahmedabad-based  Pivoting Softwares Pvt. Ltd which is known for providing Gridle, a cloud based visual collaboration tool, has secured INR 10 lakh led by CIIE and IIM-A Hiraco Ventures. Launched by Co-founder & CEO Yash Shah, Co-founder & CTO Anupama Panchal and Co-founder & Creative Head Abhishek Doshi in March 2014.


Bangalore-headquartered Certus Technologies is behind the product, eKAVACH, a digital parenting application as a service – offer parental supervision and control over a child’s activities on various digital media to ensure focused learning outcomes and appropriate usage of social media. The firm has adopted a mobile-first strategy backed by a SaaS model.

More Info: eKAVACH has a panel of domain experts who specialize in areas such as Clinical Psychology, Education, Child Welfare and Child behavior analysis. Founded by Noopur Raghunath, it is looking to drive app downloads and usage, and plans to tie up with schools to offer its services either as a standalone model, or as a customized offering to parents, on behalf of schools.

MeDine is a mobile app that has interactive menu cards and rewards users when they check-in to places across partner restaurants. These rewards can be redeemed for shopping vouchers, ecommerce vouchers, spa treatment etc. One can also PreOrder through the app, rate and review dishes along with the check-ins – all translating into rewards.

What problems it is solving: Driving walk-ins & increasing revenues for restaurants. Customer KYC (Know Your Customer) for restaurants/cafes.

Main Competitors:  “For driving walk-in traffic in restaurants, there are many players like Zomato, Burrp,Evening Flavours, Group Table etc. All provide detailed restaurant level information but not a searchable and informative menu card. For rewards, there are multi-category players like payback, ladoo app etc but none in food space For KYC – the only alternatives are Personal touch & specific restaurant players who do similar things as we do through technology, eg Dominoes” says the team
