Start-up Showcase: bakLOL, Trippeo Technologies and Twistlook


bakLOL is an app that contains a collection of Indian Memes from Bollywood and Television shows, Desi Trolls and Indian lingo stickers. It enable users to use stickers and memes in Whatsapp while chatting with their friends.

Gurgaon-based start-up was launched in July 2014 by Syed Atif.

Key services offered: A means to help all Whatsapp addicted people who spend most of their leisure time chatting with friends and prefer Whatsapp over other means of communication because of the liberty it gives them in terms of using pictures and stuff.
Trippeo Technologies

Founded in 2014, Trippeo provides end-to-end business travel solution and helps businesses and their employees save time and money when it comes to business travel. It is a venture of CEO Adarsh Pallian and CTO Patrick Tsang.

What problems it is solving: Trippeo’s goal is to simplify and automate an entire business trip. Companies can use Trippeo to set-up policies around travel and expenses in addition to team structures. Real-time analytics provide insights into company spending as it happens, and incentive programs encourage collaboration and friendly competition. The UI makes it easy for administrators and users alike to use the system, saving time and money across the board.

Twistlook provides customized apparel solutions for wedding, bridesmaid, and theme based weddings. It aims to make people understand globally that instead of following a trend, they actually can create a trend of their own and let others follow it. At present, the firm offers all ethnic range like sarees, anarkali salwar suits, lehengas and various men clothing options to choose from.

New Delhi-headquartered Twistlook was launched by Co-Founders Ujjawal Yadav, Pooja Khandelwal and Atul Pachauri. Currently, it is having approximately 750-800 unique visitors per day and will focuses on marketing and pricing strategies in the coming months.
