With an aim to make educational content more engaging, Korean electronics company Samsung has launched Smart Learning Digital Education Store at a press event in New Delhi, as per a fonearena report. This platform is designed to deliver study material to 70 million Indian students from 1st to 12th classes for CBSE board and another 4.5 million students who are preparing for competitive examinations.
Samsung Smart Learning will be available on all Samsung tablets and is expected to include other school boards, higher education and skill building content in due course. It will also provide multimedia tutorials, lesson based exercises and practice tests.
Being a cloud based service, it can be accessed online and offline and around 7000 stores across India have been equipped to sell education content on the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Designed to supplement traditional classroom learning, the content is based on a problem solving and interactive approach for students, and stresses on concept understanding in students.
