Much awaited iPhone 6 and iPhone Plus were unveiled on Tuesday, and even though Apple had announced that they will be launched in the US and in 8 other countries on September 19 and in India on October 17, eBay India sellers have already listed the phones for over INR 80,000. The Economic Times noted this first.
Multiple sellers have listed unlocked versions of the two phones, available for pre-order. Most of these listings indicate that the orders will be shipped on September 21st, thus indicating that the sellers are going source the handsets from foreign countries where they will be available for sale on 19th September.

One of the sellers on eBay, who plans to source the handsets from Australia and Singapore, told ET that he has already received more than 20 bookings with the full amount paid by Wednesday evening. His listing had got more than 600 hits, he said.
One of the seller is even running an auction on iPhone 6, closing soon before the global launch. And although the exact price of these phones in India hasn’t been announced, they are estimated to be in a range of INR 45,000-55,000 for the 16 GB versions, yet the impatient Apple fans in India seem to be willing to buy them for more than double the price.
