Tata’s Infiniti Retail and Snapdeal Announce Partnership to Sell Croma Products Online

Lately, Snapdeal and Tata are seeming like best buddies. First Tata Value Homes partnered with Snapdeal to launch the real estate vertical of the e-commerce player, then Ratan Tata himself made an investment in the company, and now Tata Group promoted electronics retail chain Croma and yesterday entered into a strategic partnership.

Through this partnership, the two companies will together sell products across various electronics categories like Mobiles, Tablets, and Laptops etc. online. Currently, the products available at the Croma stores will now also be made available for purchase through Croma’s Flagship Brand Store on

As per the agreement, Croma and would jointly work towards market development initiatives, establishment of joint collaboration on customer and vendor outreach programmes and category development. Both brands would also be looking at exclusive launches of products and brands belonging to the select categories.

Launched in October 2006, Croma sold over 6000 products in the stores from 5 lead categories namely Home appliances, Entertainment, IT products, Digital imaging and Communication in 96 outlets across 16 major cities of India.

Started in February 2010, Snapdeal has seen 600% growth year-on-year for the last two years. Currently, the company is run by a team of 1500+ members. Also, Snapdeal and Tata Value Homes announced a partnership for starting the real estate vertical of the former together.
