Yahoo Introduces its E-commerce Platform as Yahoo Stores

Yahoo on Thursday introduced the relaunch of its e-commerce platform,  Yahoo stores, allowing users to “turn an idea into a business in less than two minutes,” said Amit Kumar, Head of Yahoo Small Business, in a Blog Post.

It allows small businesses to set up online retailing, and accept orders within minutes including a payment processing system by directly connecting users with a payment service provider.

The new platform was a “a completely reimagined, next-generation version” of a service Yahoo that began 16 years ago. Yahoo Small Business took the best of everything we’ve learned from our million+ customers over the past 16 years, and applied it to Yahoo Stores to give small business owners a more powerful, streamlined and beautiful way to turn their ideas into a business.”  said Amit.
