Twitter’s latest social experiment is getting annoying for some users. Now if someone ‘Favorites’ a tweet it gets retweeted on their profile as well. And as first noted by TheNextWeb, this is troublesome as people are getting notifications when other users follow someone new and also seeing tweets favorited by them in their timeline.

Ooh now twitter inserting selected “[person you follow] faved” tweets into main timeline pic.twitter.com/zDhrNseNGs

Why does my twitter timeline randomly show me what people have favourited and who they follow? I don’t give a shit

Not a fan of twitter showing what ppl favourite or accounts that they follow.

The new notifications are upsetting and confusing users, since people obviously don’t want to see tweets from users they don’t follow. And people do not want all their favourited tweets to get re-tweeted.
Apart from this, Twitter has recently introduced new product experiences, launched new web profiles with a number of new advertiser tools, continued the international expansion of its advertising products. The firm has also acquired three companies as Gnip, TapCommerce and SnappyTV.
