Intuit has Acquired Chicago-based Startup itDuzzit

California-based, business and financial management solutions provider, Intuit has acquired Chicago-based startup, itDuzzit, a cloud-centric integration platform, for an undisclosed amount. The other terms and conditions are still undisclosed but itDuzzit’s two Co-Founders, Joe Dennis and Steve Mendoza, will join Intuit.

Post this acquisition, Intuit is expected to add itDuzzit to its QuickBooks platform as well as both companies are collaborating to fold the technology into the Intuit Partner Platform. “itDuzzit’s technology benefits the entire QuickBooks Online ecosystem: third-party developers, accountants and small businesses.This acquisition brings us closer to achieving our mission of helping every small business app connect to the QuickBooks platform,” said Avi Golan, VP and GM, Intuit Partner Platform, in a blog post.

itDuzzit offers tools and pre-built integration solutions for businesses, web-based and mobile applications as well as allows audiences to create sophisticated integrations on its platform. The dozens of apps are linked up with cloud apps by the help of itDuzzit including Asana, Autotask, AutoPack, Base, Box, Call-Home and much more.

Till date, Intuit had made 20 acquisitions and secured a total capital of USD 6.7 million in an unknown round. Launched in 1983 and went public on March 19, 1993. The company having 7,800 employees with major offices in US, Canada, UK, India and more. It had invested USD 25 million in payment platform, Clinkle and offer one product: Intuit PayByCoin.
