LG G3 Smartphone Set to Launch Online in India on July 25

LG is expected to launch its latest flagship smartphone  LG G3 on July 25 in India on Infibeam for INR 46,990. The smartphone will be  available in silk white and metallic black color at a price of INR 46,990 for 16GB model and the 32GB at INR 49,900.


It comes with a 5.5 inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 and powered by a Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.46GHz. Its other features includes 2GB RAM for its 16GB version & 3GB of RAM for its 32GB version and and mindboggling pixel density of 538ppi.

The device also has a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization, dual LED flash and a gigantic 3000mAh battery. The G3 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and also incorporates two new UX features: Smart Keyboard (which reduces input errors by up to 75 percent by analyzing and tracking typing habits) & Smart Notice (provides suggestions and recommendations based on user behavior, phone usage patterns and location).

The smartphone also includes some security features like Knock Code (allows users to unlock their devices), Content Lock (Which protects personal files from view and share) and Kill switch (provides the ability to disable their phones remotely in the event of theft).

Recently, LG had launched an LG G Watch which also runs on Android wear at a price USD 229.

Know Your Mobile says: LG has also provided an option for wireless charging like in the high end Nokia Lumia series.

LG has also further divulged that it has incorporated something better than the current Swipe keyboard that makes typing less tedious.

Bongodaily says: Going by the hardware and software specifications, the LG G3 is the killer smartphone. In order to be more aggressive in the price-conscious Indian market, LG will have to play with the price to compete with many upcoming brands and the latest launched flagship devices of HTC etc.
