Business, Ecommerce to foray into men’s apparel

Increasing its list of products, has now launched ‘Denim Hangout’ and men’s innerwear stores on its marketplace, as covered by Economic Times. It now offers more than 1,500 styles in men’s Denim wear and over 1,300 styles in men’s innerwear including indian and international brands.

More products will be added to the company website including jackets, denim shirts, waistcoats, conversational T-shirts, trendy leggings and accessories like wristbands, belts, bags, shoes, wallets, caps and much more. With this launch, the company included around 15 million product across categories.

Earlier, the company has launched its art marketplace and expanded its android based app store to around 200 countries. In may 2014, it has invested USD 20 million in chinese online food vendor Yummy 77.

Also, the firm has launched a beauty store with around 5,000 products, introduced Amazon Payments market and added a new category of collectible coins to its online marketplace.

At present, the company is planning to launch 3D smartphone in September 2014. Other recent moves of Amazon in hardware space include a Fire Tv which can stream video content over the internet. Also, it has launched the upgraded versions of its Kindle tablets last year.
