Twitterdeck adds more functionality to scheduled tweets

Twitter, on Tuesday, announced the updates for Twitterdeck in a blog post. The new feature will allow users to schedule Tweets with images and have better visibility for shared accounts.

To add an image to a scheduled tweet, one needs to first click on ‘Compose Tweet’ option. The user will then come across ‘schedule tweet’ tab. Select the tab, then choose the required image, pick a time in the future for the Tweet to send and click “Tweet”.

Here is an example:

Once a tweet is scheduled on a shared account, other people who also manage that account can see the Tweet and make the changes. Also, a separate column can be maintained to track the tweets in queue.

Tweets scheduled through TweetDeck will be visible on and vice versa, ensuring that a user is always in the picture as to which content is being scheduled.

The new features are available on the web, Windows and Chrome versions of TweetDeck, and are coming soon to the Mac app.
