The new service, Syntel Digital One, was launched on Wednesday with a focus on enabling its clients to transform into future-ready digital enterprises. The service will consolidate Syntel’s existing digital enterprise services including enterprise mobility, cloud computing, Big Data analytics, social media and Internet of Things.
As per DNA’s Beryl Menezes, the team at Syntel believes that all its clients require a single platform to deliver multiple solutions comprising social, mobility, analytics and cloud (SMAC). The company will initially focus on the markets of North America, Europe and India for its new technology.

Syntel Digital One is a new way for us to partner with clients to transform their businesses, capitalize on new opportunities and win in a dynamic marketplace,” said Syntel CEO and President, Nitin Rakesh.
Syntel is a global provider of integrated information technology and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) solutions spanning the entire lifecycle of business and information systems and processes. The company is currently associated with major clients such as Microsoft and Cisco. Last week, it also released its financial statements for 1Q14. Syntel reported a net profit of 25% at USD 58.1 million, and a revenue of USD 19.5 million showcasing a 16% Y-o-Y hike.
Other companies which are increasing their focus on SMAC are Cognizant, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Infosys among others.
