Meritnation expands offline presence; rolls out Meritnation Junior

Online learning website has launched 4 advance study centres for Class 1-10 in Jaipur. The first center was opened in Gurgaon two years back. Meritnation is further looking to increase its pan India presence with plans to introduce a franchise model to aid this expansion program.

The selection of city came in lieu of the already present large online user base and the importance given by jaipur citizens to education. Also, the fact that Jaipur is relatively closer to Delhi, made the city an apt choice for the launch.

As per Vivek Narayanan, VP of Product at Meritnation, the center’s ability to utilize technology in customising studies will be the major USP. Also, friendly mentors, fun and exciting ways of teaching would inspire the learning effort of students.

“Jaipur has good schools and people here are very focussed on securing a good education for their children. We thought it is time we change the decades old tuition experience and bring to the people of Jaipur a completely innovative way of studying that will open the door to true learning,” said company founder & CEO, Pavan Chauhan.

Recently, the company has also rolled out Meritnation Junior, a product specifically focused on the online learning requirements of class 1 to 5 students. The website offers several fun learning ways for the juniors such as animated short videos, study companions in the form of funny avatars and more.

The website provides unlimited questions across 500+ topics with over 1000+ videos and downloadable worksheets. The specially designed parent’s zone allows parents to create tests and assign them to their children. They can monitor their child’s performance through comprehensive reports that allow parents to readily identify the ‘weak spots’ in their child’s learning.
