If I ignore over the 40 major festivals in India, then definitely maximum ‘Dhamaal’ is made at the time when Indian cricket team wins a match. Sometimes it also crosses my mind, that instead of Hockey, Cricket should be named as our National game (courtesy to Crazy Indians, lol).

This IPL, with an aim to become a first stop for consumers’ cricket content needs, Times Internet has launched a portal Cricket fans can avail all sort of content live on web, iPhone, Android, iPad, and WAP. Also, the company claims that the portal can be accessed by even the featured phones and low bandwidth users as well.

The company has introduced exclusive insights from Sourav Ganguly into a game on the platform. Along with rich photos and videos, gocricket will feature writing from around the world, connecting cricket fans with experts and writers. Also, as said, when Pepsi IPL will begin, the website will also feature a video scorecard, with real time video clips integrated into the scorecard.

Paytm’s mobile marketplace to burst with mega shopping events

From tomorrow, Paytm will be organizing a mega shopping event on its mobile marketplace. During this fest, it will be giving away shopping vouchers worth up to Rs 2 lakh to lucky shoppers along with guaranteed cashbacks. Further, identifying with the adulation of cricket fans for their loved teams, Paytm will also be introducing several IPL merchandise on its mobile marketplace that includes IPL teams branded t-shirts, caps etc.

Speaking about Paytm’s marketing plans for IPL, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, CEO, Paytm commented, “IPL has always been a cornucopia of brands attracting wide attention from cricket frenzied fans. This is the most apt time to connect with customers and strengthen brand recognition.

Apart from this, Paytm has also launched a marketing campaign “Is T20 season harr koi jeetega” in partnership with IPL title sponsor, Pepsi. And will also be providing Chat session with cricketers Dinesh Karthik and Gautam Gambhir for lucky customers.
