With the evolution of Gen C or the always connected generation, cloud services have seen an increasing demand, creating a high growth curve for the segment. From 2008 to 2014, cloud computing has become an integrated part of modern businesses, major brands and entrepreneurs.
The Indian market has also witnessed a lot of activities in this field during the past one year. The cloud services market in India is growing at 32.2 percent in 2014 to total USD 556.8 million, as per a Gartner report. The total cloud market of the country in 2013 was USD 421 million and is expected to reach USD 1.7 billion in 2018.
These results, however, contradicted with those of CII which earlier forecasted the market to grow 36% in 2013 to total USD 443 Mn.
