Collaboration and learning network Function Space raises funding

Function Space, a Pune based education and learning startup has raised an undisclosed amount of seed fund from Nexus Venture Partners.

Money raised will be used to develop more engaging tools, expand content and accelerate the overall growth of the startup. As part of the deal, Nexus Venture Partner’s MD, Sandeep Singhal will be joining the board of Function Space.

Founded by Adit Gupta, Sakshi Majumdar and Sumit Maniyar in 2013, Function space today has a team of around 15 people. The startup provides articles, video lectures and problem solving material to its customers. All in all, the platform is a collaboration and learning network for students, researchers and enthusiasts in Mathematics, Physics, and other science subjects.

With its real time networking solutions, users can interact and learn from the network of students as well. The company currently caters to a wide range of audience in around 190 countries.
