In line with Narendra Modi’s ‘Chai pe Charcha’ campaign, Rahul gandhi has now launched ‘Google Hangout pe Charcha’, reports ET. For a start, the congress workers can interact with Gandhi with this platform tomorrow for an hour between 11am-12noon.
The questions are required to be send in advance through the Congress intranet KHIDKEE.com or via Google Hangout. (Is this because it’s difficult for Rahul to frame answers live.. lol..watch out his interview with Arnab Goswami here.)
Modi’s campaign was a big hit and was done on a much broader scale with clear discussion points. Held on the occasion of International Women’s Day, with focus on women empowerment, he answered all sorts of queries from general public.
Five mediums, viz. DTH, satellite, Internet, mobile phones and social media, were used for the campaign that entails “share, ask and suggest”.
With political leaders going all tech savvy this year on a large scale, where will this lead our Indian political system in the upcoming future?
